Galleri Snerk is an artist/student run space located in Tromsø Academy of Contemporary Arts. Gallery goals are to introduce the public to emerging local and international artists coming from various fields of expertise and also to act as a hub in organising various workshops for/with youth in collaboration with local and guest artists. Galleri Snerk was established by students of Tromsø Academy of Contemporary Arts in 2014.
Snerk is currently run by Marianne Berg Johansen, Mikaela Augestad, Petra Elise Hagelund, Thea Kårud Tollefsen
Snerk is also a part of the KUNO network which give possibilities for collaborations between student run galleries.
Our gallery stretches out over two floors. we have kept the original walls from when the building was the Mack Brewery.
